Here are the top three stories in Baton Rouge today:

  1. After years of renovation, the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre is returning to the River Center Performing Arts Theatre stage. The company will launch the season with its rendition of Rapunzel, which will be the company's first show in the newly renovated River Center Performing Arts Theatre. Rapunzel features original choreography by Rebecca Acosta and Jonna Cox, and the cast has been preparing since January. (BRProud.com)
  2. Deputies are searching for a woman, 37-year-old Tiffany Lynn Howard, who is wanted on charges of motor vehicle theft and felony theft. On Thursday, the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said they are searching for Howard, who is also known as "Big Poppa." Deputies believe Howard is driving a stolen 2011 brown Chevrolet Malibu with Louisiana license plate 348EPI. Howard is a 5'11" white female and weighs 375 lbs. (WBRZ)
  3. Baton Rouge businesses are collecting donations to help people in the New Orleans area who are tornado victims. After Tuesday's devastating tornado in the New Orleans area, people continue to salvage what they can. However, donations are starting to pour in from businesses in Baton Rouge. Christopher Wagley, the owner of CSC Customs in Baton Rouge, said he knew he had to do something when pictures and videos of the damage started to pour in. By Thursday morning, he said they had a truck full of clothes, hygiene products, food, and close to $500 in cash donations. (WAFB)
