  1. Doctors continue to stress self-exams for breast cancer. Dr. Gerald Miletello at Baton Rouge General said that "early detection increases your chances for a cure tremendously." He also stated that self-exams should be done once a month starting in your 20s and mammograms should be done once a year starting in your 40s. (BRProud.com)
  2. BREC will be hosting three Esports tournaments at Red Oaks Park. The tournaments will be for Madden NFL 22, Mario Kart 8, and NBA 2K22 starting Oct. 23. The cost is $5 per person to enter the tournament. (BRProud.com)
