  1. Jennifer Duhon has returned to the LSU AgCenter to lead nutrition efforts in Central Louisiana. Duhon, who is a registered dietitian, will be leading the effort to improve the health and wellbeing of LA residents. She has more than 17 years of experience in clinical dietetics, nutrition education, food service management, and agricultural marketing and promotion. (The Town Talk)
  2. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office busted an alleged local prostitution ring at massage parlors in East Baton Rouge Parish. Five parlors were in violation of the Louisiana Revised Statue Prostitution by Massage and Prostitution: Lotus Massage, Wonderful Land Massage, B&B Spa, Blue Olive Spa, and All Natural Spa. EBRSO arrested Chun Xiang Song and Huang Weng on alleged money laundering, promoting prostitution, pandering, and criminal conspiracy charges. (BR Proud)
  3. A shooting on Madison Avenue injured two people on Saturday. According to Sgt. L'Jean McKneely, the victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive. The Baton Rouge Police Department is still investigating. (WAFB)
