Here are the top stories today in Baton Rouge:

  1. The Baton Rouge Wheelchair Tennis Association raised a record $34, 556.24 for the 2022 Cajun Classic Wheelchair Tennis Tournament. The funds were raised through their "Hallowheel" charity tennis and pickleball tournament in October. This year's tournament attracted over 400 competitors. (The Advocate)
  2. Mirror of Grace Church Outreach will hold a turkey drive-thru giveaway this Saturday, Nov. 20, starting at 9 a.m. Fifty families will receive a turkey and a food basket, but it is on a first-come, first-served basis. One turkey and one food basket will be given per vehicle. Donations to Mirror of Grace can be made through their website. (BRProud.com)
  3. The Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce held a job fair on Saturday, Nov. 13, in hopes of solving the teacher shortage. (WAFB)
  4. Baton Rouge General will introduce surgery robots called DaVinci, Mako, and Monarch, to the public with demonstrations on Friday, Nov. 19 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. (BRProud.com)
