BATON ROUGE – On August 28, 2021, LSU’s Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute will celebrate the conclusion of its Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs program at LSU’s
Business Education Complex Rotunda. The featured event speakers include Mayor-President
Sharon Weston Broome and Jason Hughes, founder of Project 70805.

Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs is a joint initiative of the Stephenson Entrepreneurship
Institute and the City of Baton Rouge, consisting of a six-week training program and
follow-up consulting projects open to all adult entrepreneurs—visionaries with ideas,
early-stage ventures, and growing businesses.
The bootcamp was scheduled for six consecutive Saturday mornings from July 24- August
28 and offered intense, hands-on exposure to the fundamentals of launching and growing
a successful venture led by LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business faculty, subject matter
experts, and successful local entrepreneurs.
