  1. The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) introduced language interpretation services to non-English speaking customers via LanguageLine Solutions. The service connects customers to trained interpreters, and there are more than 240 languages available. The OMV commissioner spoke on providing higher levels of customer service and making sure guests feel empowered. (BRProud.com)
  2. One person was shot on Gwen Dr. near N. Sherwood Forest Dr., according to Baton Rouge EMS. The victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition. Police are continuing to investigate. (WAFB)
