- With many people still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ida in South Louisiana, Louisiana State Police Troop C conducted a “Fill-A-Cruiser” toy drive to help spread holiday cheer within the community. Troopers focused on areas of the community that suffered the greatest devastations to meet children, offer friendly conversations and opportunities to choose a present from their police cruiser. (Facebook)
- Friday morning, Troopers from Troop E will be out bright and early delivering toys to children that are hospitalized as part of Christmas With a Trooper. Troop E’s Christmas With a Trooper began in 2000. During this past week, Troopers received donated toys for the cause. (Facebook)
- Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank encourages people to give a gift to help feed the food insecure in the community. To donate food, funds or time, visit brfoodbank.org/give or call 225.359.9940. (Facebook)
