- Officials in the Capital area are embarking on a series of projects to increase Baton Rouge's accessibility and making it more ADA compliant. According to the Office of East Baton Rouge, there are about 21 current projects planned. They include improving crosswalks, sidewalks, ramps, and associated facilities. (WBRZ)
- Health leaders are providing resources for those developing breast disease who are underinsured or uninsured in Baton Rouge. Some hospitals are offering free mammograms, assisting with genetic testing or screening, and educating patients on knowing their family histories. (WAFB)
