- Rock Paper Taco's first brick-and-mortar is now open on Chimes Street. The owner, Joshua Duke, stated that the vision of the restaurant is to provide guests with a" mixture of Americanized tacos with classic tacos and ingedients." Their eye-catching design, pop music, cocktails, and taco flavors make for a fun visit. (225 Baton Rouge)
- BRPD rolled out the 'blue carpet' for the arrest of a woman accused of firing a gun and stealing wigs from a BR beauty store. 18-year-old Janiya Wattley was confronted by a store owner, after she attempted to steal a wig, and she pulled out a gun from inside her purse. (WBRZ)
- Drive-thrus in Baton Rouge are now required to serve pedestrians, cyclists, and people in wheelchairs if customer entrances are closed. A council member pursued this legislation after hearing that people without a car were struggling to access businesses during the pandemic. (The Advocate)
