  1. A salmonella outbreak from onions reached Louisiana. Red, white, and yellow onions imported from Mexico have been tied to this outbreak. According to the CDC, over 652 people have been infected. (BRProud.com)
  2. A Baton Rouge man has been sentenced to prison for the Alexandria arson fires. Jasmine Cardell Roberson was sentenced to five years in prison and three years of supervised release. The fires took place in a strip mall on Elliott Street on Apr. 20 and May 3 in 2019. (The Town Talk)
