- A Louisiana State Trooper is under investigation after accusations of inappropriate partying with a Louisiana State University band. According to an investigative reporter, the incident involved the trooper and at least one female member of the band drinking together in a hotel room. A Title IX investigation is now underway. - A gun was found on a bus at Glen Oaks High School Wednesday morning. While doing a random search of students, administrators found a loaded 9 mm handgun in a bag of a 9th-grade student. No threats were reported. (WAFB)
- A person was killed in a shooting on N. 36th Street early Wednesday morning. The Baton Rouge Police Department is currently investigating the situation. (WAFB)
- East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is looking for a trio who allegedly took “multiple power tool items” from a Lowe’s store. (BRProud.com)
