1. On Saturday morning, Bethany Church teamed up with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank worked to feed hundreds of people in a Thanksgiving grocery giveaway. Volunteers gave away 1,000 boxes of groceries. Hundreds of families turned out for this event, emphasizing a growing need as a result of rising food costs and supply chain interruptions. (WBRZ)
2. The East Baton Rouge School Board approved Baton Rouge’s first fine arts conservatory. This magnet school will offer opportunities for students to study music, film, dance, theatre, and more. The Board voted unanimously to approve this conservatory. (BRProud.com)
3. The LSU Wildlife Hospital released a bald eagle on Friday, as the facility is seeing a record number of wild animals that need treatment. (WBRZ)
