- The USS KIDD Veterans Museum is hosting a Remembrance Ceremony for Pearl Harbor aboard on Nov. 7 at 11:55 a.m. USS KIDD is a United States ship named after Rear Admiral Isaac Kidd, Sr., who perished aboard the USS ARIZONA during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The event is free to the public; no registration is required. (BRProud.com)
- Louisiana’s Shot for $100 vaccine incentive program has been extended through Dec. 31, giving residents another opportunity to get their vaccines throughout the holiday season. As part of a new pilot program to expand vaccine access, an additional 48 community pharmacies in 26 parishes will serve as Shot For $100 community sites. Those receiving their first shot, as well as college students who have not yet participated and are receiving their first or second shot, are eligible for the incentive. (BRProud.com)
