Voter Registration Week September 21-25 In Baton Rouge

To cast a ballot in the upcoming November 3, 2020 election, the last day to register to vote in-person or by mail is October 5, 2020.

To commemorate Louisiana Voter Registration Week the week of September 21st through 25th, Registrar of Voters Steve Raborn is reminding citizens of East Baton Rouge Parish to make sure they are registered to vote and to either register or update their registration as needed before the fall elections.

Citizens who need to register to vote or make changes to their registration may do so online at www.GeauxVote.com, in person at the Registrar of Voters office, or they may submit a voter registration application by mail.

For those who prefer to register in person, the Registrar of Voters office will hold extended hours at its three office locations from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM during Voter Registration Week:

Main Office: City Hall, 222 Saint Louis St., Room 201

Southeast: Fire Station Building, 11010 Coursey Blvd.

Baker: Motor Vehicle Building, 2250 Main St.

Mail-in voter registration applications and absentee ballot applications may be picked up from any branch of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library, or they may be downloaded from the www.GeauxVote.com website.

To cast a ballot in the upcoming November 3, 2020 election, the last day to register to vote in-person or by mail is October 5, 2020. October 13, 2020, is the last day to register to vote online through the GeauxVote.com website.

Voters may check the status of their registration at www.GeauxVote.com or by calling the Registrar of Voters Office at 389-3940.
