  1. Woman's Hospital nurses were honored by the March of Dimes for excellence in NICU Nursing. . Christina Bell, BSN, RN, Darla Mathews, MSN, RNC-NIC, and Stephanie Powers, BSN, RNC-NIC, were selected among the top five honorees for the state, with Bell winning the top honor for Louisiana.   2. A 17-year old and 18-year old were arrested in connection with a deadly shooting of 17-year-old Beyond Wright on Alvin Dark Ave. The juvenile was sent to the Juvenile Detention Center and the 18-year-old was sent to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. (BRProud.com)
