• Night Out Against Crime returns with 18 block parties across Lafourche (houmatimes.com) — Bayou Blue residents can join the 43rd Annual Night Out Against Crime at the Bayou Blue Volunteer Fire Station on Tuesday, October 6, from 5–8 p.m. Deputies will visit 18 block parties parishwide to talk crime prevention, while families enjoy free food, refreshments, and kid-friendly activities like painting handprints on patrol vehicles.
