β’ St. John the Baptist Parish Council May 12 minutes (picayuneitem.com) β St. John the Baptist Parish Council met at the Edgard courthouse on May 12 to approve several infrastructure and utility measures impacting local water, wastewater, and drainage systems. Council members advanced fiber and gas line projects in LaPlace, funded major pump station upgrades, and backed lift station rehabilitation on the West Bank, while also renewing Parish President Jaclyn Hotardβs role on a statewide development authority board.
