ā¢ Artists Invited to Compete for 2026 Washington Parish Fair Catalog Cover (bogalusadailynews.com) ā Local artists in Franklinton and across Washington Parish can now submit designs for the 2026 Washington Parish Free Fair catalog cover, which must include āFranklintonā and this yearās patriotic theme. Entries are due May 22 and can be dropped at Franklinton Primary School, with the winning artist earning $100 and a featured spot on the fair catalog.

ā¢ Easter egg hunt is held at Franklinton library (era-leader.com) ā Franklinton families can join more 80th birthday fun at the Franklinton Branch Library, which just hosted its annual Easter egg hunt for more than twenty children. All month long, the library is celebrating with a writing contest and an Open House Birthday Party on April 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. Ā Ā Ā
ā¢ Garden of the Month for Franklinton is named (era-leader.com) ā A Franklinton home at 1013 Evan Street has been chosen as the townās Garden of the Month, honoring the late Tanda Schillingās long-standing pride in her yard.
