• Prairieville man sentenced to 25 years pursuant to distribution plea (pelicanpostonline.com) — Gonzales Police and Ascension Parish deputies led an investigation that ended with a Prairieville man receiving a 25-year prison sentence for multiple drug distribution charges. Detectives seized large quantities of heroin and methamphetamine during a 2025 probe, and the defendant pleaded guilty earlier this year before being sentenced on May 4.
