• Louisiana drivers will soon say goodbye to inspection stickers (kplctv.com) — Drivers in Gray and across Louisiana will no longer need traditional annual safety inspection stickers for most personal vehicles starting January 1, 2027, thanks to a new law signed by Gov. Jeff Landry. The old brake tags will be replaced with a $6 QR code tied to your registration, though commercial vehicles, school buses, and some farm vehicles will still require inspections.
