ā¢ 2 arrested after search of storage unit (hammondstar.com) ā Hammond Police say a narcotics investigation led to the arrests of two men after a search of a Hammond storage unit and vehicle allegedly uncovered large quantities of suspected methamphetamine, pills, and a stolen firearm. Multiple local and regional agencies assisted, and the case has been forwarded to federal prosecutors; residents are urged to report tips on illegal drugs or firearms to HPDās Narcotics Division.
