• Bulldogs Win SWIBC II Tournament for Sixth Consecutive Year (latechsports.com) — Louisiana Tech’s nationally ranked bowling team just captured its sixth straight SWIBC II title and is now headed to Harahan this weekend for the Tulane-hosted Coronel Classic. The tournament runs Friday, Oct. 9 through Sunday, Oct. 11, bringing high-level collegiate bowling competition into town and giving local fans a chance to see an MVP-led squad in action.
