• Flood Watch for New Orleans Metro and Northshore (wdsu.com) — Kenner is under both a broader flood watch and a more urgent flash flood warning as heavy thunderstorms bring several inches of rain to the metro area through Sunday. Residents should expect possible street and underpass flooding, especially in low-lying or poorly drained spots, and be ready to change travel plans quickly if conditions worsen.
