Complaints and audit findings question summer work schedules and large step increases, raising concerns about payroll practices and school board oversight that could affect how local tax dollars are managed.

Attorney disbarred after stealing $385 in food from Walmart where he worked (abajournal.com) — A former Louisiana attorney has been disbarred after stealing $385 in food and drinks from the Walmart where he worked in Lafayette. The state Supreme Court cited his criminal conduct and prior disciplinary history in permanently revoking his law license and noted he showed no remorse, according to disciplinary findings.
