🌱 JPD Deputies Arrested For Manslaughter + Boil Water Advisory

Here are the top stories in New Orleans today:

  1. Just after body camera technology was finally implemented in the Jefferson Parish police force, two Jefferson deputies have arrested on manslaughter charges for unjustly shooting and killing an unarmed man in an SUV on February 16th. (NOLA.com)
  2. A boil water advisory has been issued for Gentilly and parts of New Orleans East due to a dramatic drop in water pressure caused by repairs in a water main. (FOX 8 Live WVUE)
  3. The former St. Tammany Parish Sherrif, Jack Strain, has been formally sentenced to life behind bars for his sex crimes against boys. (NOLA.com)
  4. NOPD is currently searching for a missing 72-year-old man who was reported to NOPD on Monday and was last seen on Read Boulevard. Anyone with information should contact authorities. (WDSU New Orleans)
