First, today's weather:
Plenty of sunshine. High: 67 Low: 48.
Here are the top three stories in New Orleans today:
- Four juveniles have escaped from the New Orleans Youth Study Center, a juvenile jail, and allegedly carjacked a woman. They have yet to be apprehended. (WDSU New Orleans)
- 300,000 gallons of diesel were spilled near New Orleans late last month and the cleanup process seems to be doing well. (WWLTV.com)
- A murder investigation lead police to the remains of a dismembered body found in a freezer. A few arrests have been made as a result, but none yet directly relate to the death itself. (KATC Lafayette News)
