University Medical Center expands New Orleans cancer center (neworleanscitybusiness.com) — University Medical Center New Orleans has finished a $2 million expansion of its Cancer Center, adding more exam rooms, infusion chairs, and advanced technology to meet soaring patient demand. The upgrade expands clinical trials, specialty programs, and navigation services so more New Orleanians can access cutting-edge cancer care close to home instead of traveling out of state.
   

3. The T&C Guide to College Towns: New Orleans (townandcountrymag.com) — This in-depth guide showcases New Orleans as both a vibrant college town and cultural powerhouse, highlighting neighborhoods, restaurants, music venues, museums, and festivals locals know well. 4. Trick Williams Sets His Sights On Winning At WWE Money In The Bank 2026 (wrestlinginc.com) — WWE's 2026 Money in the Bank premium live event is headed to New Orleans' Smoothie King Center on October 10, and rising star Trick Williams is eager to win the briefcase here. New major port to blossom on Gulf Coast east of Houston (lmtonline.com) — A massive new container port is planned just 17 miles southeast of New Orleans in St. Bernard Parish, potentially reshaping how cargo moves through our region. The Louisiana International Terminal, backed by Port NOLA and major global operators, aims to handle ships too large for current local bridges and could boost jobs, trade, and rail-linked commerce across the Mississippi River corridor.
