🌱Postponed Recycling Pickup + On-Street Dining Extended

First, today's weather:

Cold in the a.m., then warmer. High: 60 Low: 50.


Here are the top three stories in New Orleans today:

  1. The New Orleans Sanitation Department has postponed recycling pickup in order to catch up on trash collection. There are no updates for when waste removal will return to normal. (WDSU New Orleans)
  2. The City of New Orleans has extended its temporary on-street dining rules again in an effort to support local businesses and restaurants amid the ongoing pandemic. (Eater New Orleans)
  3. The NOPD is currently searching for a man accused of striking an officer with a metal chair. The officer suffered minor injuries and the suspect is wanted on charges of battery of a police officer. (WDSU New Orleans)
