What to know (weeklycitizen.com) — Prairieville voters in Ascension Parish face a June 27 primary focused mainly on the closed U.S. Senate race, plus a local lighting district proposition for some west-side precincts. Residents can confirm registration, ballot type, and polling places through GeauxVote.com or the state’s mobile app, and early voting runs June 12–20 with specific blackout dates.
   

2. Remembering Jacobi Clement's Legacy (unfilteredwithkiran.com) — Residents are mourning 20-year-old Gonzales athlete and coach Jacobi Clement, who died in a May 30 motorcycle crash in Prairieville. BEACH VB: Five Sandy Lions named to SLC All-Academic Team (an17.com) — A Prairieville native, freshman beach volleyball player Cadie Kusy, has been honored on the Southland Conference All-Academic team after a standout rookie season for Southeastern Louisiana University. She posted a 3.9 GPA, went 21-10 overall, and helped set a program record for wins at the pair-four position alongside teammate Makayla Hicks.
