Love Our Waterways cleanup event aims to keep local lakes and rivers litter-free (westcentralsbest.com) — Shreveport volunteers are invited Saturday morning to help clean Cross Lake, the Red River, 12 Mile Bayou, and other local waterways as part of the Love Our Waterways campaign. Shreveport Green and Keep Bossier Beautiful will provide supplies, breakfast, T‑shirts, and lunch from an 8 a.m. hub at the American Legion Post, making it easy to pitch in and reduce litter flowing into area lakes and bayous.
