Southern Hills pool opens again after lengthy renovation (westcentralsbest.com) — Shreveport's Southern Hills Pool has finally reopened after months of renovation delays, giving families access again to the city's only Olympic-sized public pool. The SPAR-managed facility now features two new water slides, was funded through a voter-approved bond, and is expected to open on weekends through September, with possible October hours depending on weather.
