• Louisiana regulators slow to address air pollution violations in state's southwest, report says (nola.com) — A Sulphur-based nonprofit, Micah 6:8 Mission, helped produce a report arguing Louisiana regulators are too slow and lenient in enforcing air pollution rules around Lake Charles and nearby plants. State officials dispute the findings but acknowledge past criticism and say they've tightened timelines, while environmental groups warn delays may let some violations escape meaningful penalties.
