Fatal 2-vehicle crash in Augusta under investigation (newscentermaine.com) — A deadly two-vehicle crash at Route 3 and West River Road in Augusta Thursday morning killed one driver and temporarily shut down a key stretch of Route 3 near the I-95 roundabouts. Augusta and Maine State Police are still investigating and have not yet released the victim's name, but say more details will come in a news release as their work continues.

Your UMA-covered KVYMCA membership is here - University of Maine at Augusta (uma.edu) — UMA students, staff, and eligible family members in Augusta can now get a Kennebec Valley YMCA membership fully covered by the university, replacing the old Augusta Civic Center fitness option. You'll apply using forms on the MyUMA portal, then bring them to the Union Street YMCA in Augusta, where staff will be on hand this afternoon to answer questions and help you sign up.
