• MaineHousing awards a record $2.7 million to help agencies run winter warming shelters (pressherald.com) — MaineHousing is sending a record $2.72 million to 12 organizations to operate winter warming shelters, including one in Brunswick, boosting capacity to 474 beds statewide. The money will help cover staffing, supplies, and extended hours so people facing homelessness or high heating costs have safe, heated places to go during dangerous weather this winter.
