• Foxcroft Academy Competes at 76th Old Town Cross Country Sectionals (news-usa.today) — Presque Isle's boys cross country team placed fifth with 103 points at the Old Town Sectionals, edging several regional rivals in a competitive field. Foxcroft Academy finished eighth overall, led by a strong third-place run from senior Noah Ferioli. The meet drew nine schools and highlighted how Aroostook County teams stack up statewide.
   

• Trump ads funded by taxpayers air on Maine stations (bangordailynews.com) — Viewers in the Presque Isle TV market saw taxpayer-funded Trump ads air several times Sunday, as part of a national buy that also targeted Portland. The spots, echoing his 2024 campaign themes, have drawn bipartisan criticism for blurring public service messaging with electioneering. Only a small share of the $319,000 national spend landed in Maine.
