Second Man Charged in Double Homicide Outside Aberdeen Apartment

Police filed nine charges against an Aberdeen man in connection with Monday's double fatal shooting.

ABERDEEN, MD — A second man has been charged in the double homicide that occurred in Aberdeen earlier this week.

Ronald Brian Comer Jr., 29, of the unit block of Post Road in Aberdeen, was arrested Wednesday, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.

Comer is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and using a firearm to commit a felony.

His alleged partner in crime Terrell Darnell Walton, 29, was also charged, after SWAT members helped bring him into custody on Wednesday, according to police.

Authorities allege Comer and Walton were responsible for the murders of 43-year-old Jumal R. Dudley of Havre de Grace and 31-year-old Taneisha C. Smothers of Aberdeen, who were found shot to death outside an apartment in the unit block of East Bel Air Avenue around 3:15 a.m. on Monday.
