• Brewery and the Beast Social House open in Oakland (wvnews.com) — A popular Garrett County eatery that first opened in Accident in 2024 has now expanded with a new Social House location in downtown Oakland. Local business leaders say the growth from food truck to two brick-and-mortar spots reflects strong community support, more dining options, and added energy for nearby residents looking for scratch-made food, craft beer, and a welcoming gathering place.
