$17K Worth of Weed, $47K in Cash Seized in Drug Raids
Anne Arundel County Police say complaints about drug sales in South County led to drug seizures, followed by an Annapolis raid.

Marijuana and nearly $50,000 in cash were seized by Anne Arundel County Police last week during raids after tips about drug trafficking in South County.
Four people from various parts of the county were charged, as well.
After a month of investigation, police stopped a vehicle Nov. 16 on Fairhaven Road in Tracey’s Landing. A vehicle search turned up about 588.69 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $17,660, which was seized. Authorities also found $2,370 in cash and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Another $45,296 was seized during the investigation, for a total of $47,666.94 in cash recovered by police.
Suspect Gregory Michael Goodwin, 23, of 1585 Gabriels Way in Sunderland was charged with possession with intent to distribute: marijuana, possession of CDS: marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at 314 Canterfield Road in Annapolis on Nov. 20. During a search of the residence, a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia was seized.
The people were cited for drug possession marijuana less than 10 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia:
- Mary Elizabeth Lapp, 28, of Annapolis
- Ryan Andrew Atienza, 25, of Millersville
- Stephen Clare Poulton, 23, of Severna Park
