7 Best Coffee Shops In Annapolis According To Yelp
Find out where you should satisfy your coffee fix in the Annapolis area.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Need to clutch a hot mug of java to thaw out on a bitter cold today? Or maybe that jolt of caffeine will help you power through work and chores. Get yourself a great cup of coffee.
Here are seven of the best coffee shops in the Annapolis area, according to Yelp reviews.
Bakers & Co, 618 Chesapeake Ave.
Reviewer Eric G. wrote: "Probably my favorite coffee shop to visit... The staff is incredibly nice, the coffee is good, and the baked goods and broad loaves in particular are great; however, I think it is a bit absurd that a place can charge over $4 for a scone or croissant now. The location is great in Eastport, however I wish that the actual shop were bigger and there were more seating options (inside and outside). This place gets quite busy on the weekends."

Brown Mustache Coffee, 35 Maryland Ave.
Reviewer Sean H. says: "Read their copy of the NYT while sipping great Latte and downing a Fritter comfortably slouched in one of their leather chairs. Located in a cool old used bookstore built in the 1800s, it's just a five-ten minute walk from all hotels in the historic district. Definitely worth walking past Starbucks! ... Mustache is the best---or at worst case---tied for the best coffee shop in all of Historic Annapolis."

Bean Rush Cafe, 112A Annapolis St.
Commenter Ian S. said, "This was the perfect little spot to get some work done an a weekday afternoon. The cold brew coffee was to die for. It's away from the busy and crowded coffeeshops of downtown Annapolis and had a great local feel."
Ceremony Coffee Roasters, 2329 Forest Drive, Ste. G
Said reviewer Ken M.: "If you like coffee the way God intended it, this is the place for you. It is no Starbucks and doesn't pretend to be. They roast their own beans and brew or press it or whatever it is that makes great, strong coffee. In fact, unless you get one of the brews that has already been made you might have to wait awhile as the cup is made especially for you."
Zu Coffee - Annapolis, 934 Bay Ridge Rd.
Customer Bryant Y. posted: "I've now been going here for several months. While sometimes on the slower side their service seems much smoother. Frankly their friendly demeanor makes up for anything. This now feels like a home coffee shop. They know my drink and my name. I've met a bunch of great people at the shop. Gotten used to the comfortable low key vibe."
The Red Bean, 220 Main St.
Visitor Yemisi E. from Pennsylvania commented: "I loved the environment and the coffee. The building feels very open and wide. It isn't stuffy like a lot of coffee shops. I had their dark roast coffee and it was wonderful. I didn't add cream or sugar. I drank the whole things black. Their coffee put us in such a great mood that we walked down to the water."
City Dock Coffee, 18 Market Space
Commenter Ryan B. said: "Great little coffee shop a block from the waterfront and city dock (as you might expect...) Coffee options are delicious, and the sandwiches are also quite good (try chicken salad on a toasted bagel). Free wifi if you can get a table. Don't be discouraged if the line looks long... It does move really fast!"
