Acme Re-Opens After Two-Week Closure

The penalty, which started Feb. 10, stemmed from an incident involving the selling of alcohol to minors, two of which were later involved in a on King George Street.

The Capital was there on re-opening night this past weekend and reported that many customers said it had a “homier” feel. Some of the changes include re-stained bars, lighter walls and improved lighting, according to the story.

The Capital also reported that several other downtown bars held specials during Acme's closure to show their support to help the bar's employees.
