Six Boats Set for World and North American Debuts at 2026 Annapolis Boat Shows (eyeonannapolis.net) β This year's Annapolis Powerboat Show (October 8β11) and Sailboat Show (October 15β18) at City Dock will feature six major world or North American boat debuts, plus several other new models. From long-range cruisers to eco-friendly catamarans, the shows continue Annapolis's tradition as a premier in-water stage for the latest designs on the Chesapeake.

Rotary Club of Annapolis to Host Second Annual 'Fore the Greater Good' Golf Outing (eyeonannapolis.net) β Annapolis-area golfers are invited to join the Rotary Club of Annapolis' "Fore the Greater Good" outing on Monday, Oct. 19 at The Golf Club at South River in Edgewater, raising money for the Chesapeake K9 Fund. Registration options range from solo spots to foursomes and include food, drinks, contests, and shop credit, with full details and sign-up available online.

Annapolis Powerboat Show Contest (foxbaltimore.com) β You can win four tickets to the Annapolis Powerboat Show at City Dock, running October 8β11, by watching FOX45 Morning News this week and being the tenth caller when prompted. The contest is open to eligible residents in the Baltimore/Anne Arundel region and runs October 5β9, with five total winners receiving one-day admission ticket packages.

Maryland expanding 24/7 emissions testing kiosks at 7 locations across the state (wmar2news.com) β Drivers in Annapolis could soon have a new 24/7 self-service emissions testing kiosk, as Maryland expands its VEIP kiosk network to seven additional locations statewide. The kiosks cost slightly less than full-service tests and let you handle required inspections on your own schedule, with exact Annapolis site details to be announced in coming months.
