Annapolis Crime: Stolen Vehicles, Another Vehicle Recovered

The  (APD) provided the following information on recent incidents in the city.

Auto theft—Someone stole a brown 2009 Mitsubishi Galant from the 1900 block of Copeland St. at 3 p.m. Saturday. The car was left unlocked and the engine was running. It has a temporary tag with an undetermined number.

Auto theft—Someone stole a 1995 Honda 125 motorcycle with a purple seat from the unit block of Bens Drive sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Saturday. The motorcycle was unregistered and did not have any tags.

Stolen vehicle recovered—An officer recovered a vehicle Friday that was reported stolen Wednesday. Police found the vehicle in the 200 block of Farragut Court. It was reported stolen from the 900 block of Spa Road. There was no damage to the vehicle.

Burglary—Someone kicked open the rear kitchen door of a home in the 1900 block of Copeland St. between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 9 and stole an Xbox, two Nintendo game consoles and a 22-inch Sony television.

Theft from vehicle—Someone stole a GPS unit along with its car charger from a vehicle in the 200 block of Lockwood Court. The incident happened sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Friday. There was no sign of forced entry.

Burglary—Someone entered a home in the 1000 block of Paddington Place through an unsecured window between 4:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday and stole $250, a Toshiba laptop computer, a Dell laptop computer and six men's watches.
