Annapolis Irish Festival 2017: Bands, Tickets, Kids' Events And More
The 2017 Annapolis Irish Festival will be held rain or shine June 2 and 3 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Fan favorite Gaelic Storm — known as the party band in the movie "Titanic" and for non-stop touring — headlines this weekend's 2017 Annapolis Irish Festival. The event will be held rain or shine on Friday, June 2, and Saturday, June 3, at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds on General Highway in Crownsville.
The festival is billed as a family oriented event, celebrating Celtic music, traditions and customs. It features local and international Celtic bands, dancers, pipers, entertainers along with a wide array of vendors offering up authentic Irish foods, crafts, clothing and jewelry. The venue's "Little Leprechaun Land,” where everything is free for the wee ones, is open on Saturday (only).
The Annapolis Irish Festival was founded by local musician, Eddie McGowan and debuted in 2011. Thanks to the support of Budweiser, Galway Bay, Murphy Commercial and 22 other local businesses, the festival has tripled its footprint, added a 26,000 sq. ft. “big top” structure tent, 3 stages, donated over $100,000 to local non-profits and evolved into a nationally recognized event
