Annapolis Man Jailed in Woman's Beating: Police
Annapolis Police say Kamau Anderson is charged with assaulting for punching a woman and threatening her with a handgun.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis man is being held on charges that he repeatedly punched a woman and threatened her with a handgun Tuesday afternoon.
The attack reportedly happened in the unit block of Bens Drive. The victim reported that Kamau Anderson, 29, of Annapolis assaulted and threatened her with a handgun.
The woman told Annapolis Police that Anderson yelled at her, punched her in the face, and pointed a handgun at her head. Anderson assaulted her repeatedly before fleeing the area.

Officers located Anderson in the 1100 block of Madison Streeet later that night.
Anderson was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in felony or violent crime, and handgun on person.

He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
