Annapolis Storm Update: Transit Service Ending Early
And residents can still park their vehicles in city garages at no cost to get them off the streets and help the snowplows.

Annapolis Transit will end all services at 6:30 p.m.Thursday, March 5, because of deteriorating road conditions.
Meanwhile, all four city parking garages are open to accommodate residents who live on snow emergency routes. The city opened the garages Wednesday afternoonto get vehicles off the streets and make plowing efforts more effective.

The city is in a Level 2 Snow Response, which calls for 5” to 8” Snowfall and forbids parking on emergency snow routes. Residents are still being asked to move their vehicles off snow emergency routes to avoid towing and impound.

These are the four City’s garages that residents are requested to move their vehicles to free of charge:
• Noah Hillman Parking Garage – 150 Gorman Street
• Gotts Court Parking Garage – 25 Northwest Street
• Knighton Parking Garage – 1A Colonial Avenue
• Park Place – 5 Park Place
Go to http://bit.ly/1AvTaap to see if your street is listed as a snow emergency route.
Before leaving the garage, go to the garage office and get a snow voucher by showing proof of residency. The garages will remain available until further notice.
The Annapolis Call Center remains open for all non-emergency calls. Annapolis residents can call 410-260-2211 regarding road conditions or any non-emergency snow-related questions.
Also, the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m. has been canceled.
