Anne Arundel Co. Schools Change Status For Jan. 29, 30

Snow and cold temperatures have forced Anne Arundel County schools to change how classes will operate on Thursday and Friday.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — As crews continue work among frigid temperatures to clear school access, side streets and bus stops across the county, Anne Arundel County Public Schools will operate virtually on Thursday, Jan. 29, and Friday, Jan. 30.

Classes were canceled and all buildings closed Monday through Wednesday in the aftermath of the weekend snowstorm amid brutal cold.

Shortly after noon Wednesday, the school system announced the plan for virtual instruction the last two days of the school week.
