Chesapeake Bay Cruise Unites Business Leaders, Celebrates Economy
Business leaders will cruise on the Chesapeake Bay to celebrate the rebounding economy. One attendee will win round-trip Southwest tickets.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Business leaders will cruise on the Chesapeake Bay later this month to celebrate Anne Arundel County's rebounding economy. The event is open to the public. Networking and door prizes will be available.
Patch recently partnered with several local organizations to bring you their latest news. This guest contribution comes from the Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce. Here's what President and CEO Mark Kleinschmidt wrote about the event:
"It has been a significant challenge to navigate the rough waters created by the pandemic. The COVID storm clouds are now departing, and calm waters are returning along with a surging economy. Since sailing and boating are such a large part of the Annapolis community and economy, the Chamber wanted to provide our members with an opportunity to get out on the water as we sail into the “new normal” and economic activity returns.

The Chamber has partnered with Watermark Tours to host the Midsummer’s Night Cruise on July 29th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The Cruise will be a mini celebration of the economic recovery and a great evening of networking with friends and business associates. The cost is only $35 for Chamber members and $60 for non-members and it will provide a great evening of networking for our guests.
We will board the Catherine Marie at the historic City Dock and head out for [a] two-hour sunset cruise where you can enjoy dazzling views of Annapolis, the Naval Academy, the Bay Bridge and of course the sunset. All passengers will have a chance to win unique door prizes which include two round trip tickets with Southwest Airlines.
