Coast Guard Open House: Boat Rides, Vessel Inspections, And More
The U.S. Coast Guard is inviting the public to an open house on Saturday, May 18 at Annapolis Station.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The U.S. Coast Guard will host an open house on Saturday, May 18 to promote boater safety and show off some of their impressive military vehicles.
The interactive event — which kicks off National Safe Boating Week — will include boat rides, vessel safety inspections, displays of rescue helicopters. Coast Guard crews will also hold a discussion on boater safety and preparedness in an effort to reduce avoidable accidents on the water.
The open house is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3425 Thomas Point Rd. in Annapolis.
