Copper Stolen from BG&E Poles: Annapolis Police Reports
Also, child abuse will be the topic of the Feb. 10 Neighborhood Watch meeting.

From the Annapolis Police Department:
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 106 calls for service and arrested 19 people.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – Unit block of Ashford Ct – 02/01 at 4:30pm to 02/02 at 8am: Items were moved inside the unlocked vehicle, but nothing was stolen.
Stolen and Recovered Vehicle – Unit block of Juliana Circle – 01/30 at 11am to 02/03 at 11am: Anne Arundel County Police officers stopped a 2001 Volkswagen Passat on Nolpark Ct in Glen Burnie and the occupants fled. Annapolis Police officers contacted the vehicle owner in Annapolis, who had just discovered the vehicle was stolen. She reported that she left a set of spare vehicle keys in the vehicle and one of the doors unlocked.
Theft of Copper – 200 block of Windell Av – 02/02 at 2:50pm to 02/03 at 8am: 400 feet of copper wire, worth approximately $200, was stolen from BG&E poles in the area.
Burglary – 800 block of Bowman Dr – 02/03 at 10:30pm – The resident returned home and discovered a 19” Vizio television and a Sony PlayStation 3 game console were stolen. Entry to the home was through an unlocked ground floor window.
Neighborhood Watch Meeting
The next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. This meeting’s speaker is Detective Tom Pyles and the topic will be child abuse investigation. Food will be served so RSVP to Cpl. Amy Miguez at 410-268-9000 ext. 7261 or amiguez@annapolis.gov.
