The state’s attorney’s office says White pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence for the shooting. White faces life in prison when he is sentenced later this year.
Anne Arundel County State's Attorney Wes Adams said in a statement, "We ask police officers to put themselves in harm's way every day and on April 10, 2015 in the span of about 5 minutes, Corporal Larry Adams went from simply doing his job serving our citizens, to protecting one of our local businesses, to fighting for his life after being ambushed and shot by Colvin White. I am thankful that Officer Adams continues his path of recovery.”

Authorities said White and Danielle Blake, 30, of Severn, were driving a van that had run out of gas near the East College Parkway 7-Eleven store. Police said White and Blake have children together.
